Photographer’s Note
Looking back into some old shots, I found this one.
Any idea what this is...???
Well, if you can't guess (which seems highly likely...) then here is the answer- this is a bus window painted in deep red..! And those partial paper traces are of some advertisement for a fair (Mela 2007 as visible in shot) to be held from 1st to 15th feb, 2007. The paint has also started cracking, as seen in the wrinkles in shot.
When I boarded the bus to travel to Chandigarh and settled after battling it out to my favorite 'window' seat, first thing I noticed was this. Just above my window, the glass pane was deep red. Hugely attractive. Before the bus started moving, I got up to click it and there it was- another surprise. The torn-off paper advertisement was for some fair to be held in feb 2007 and there I was, clicking it exactly after one year, in feb 2008. Quite a coincidence.
Why I decided to post this- I can't explain this but this abstract shot reminds me how India is land of 'colors'. Just my point of view.

Yes darpan, it indeed takes some time for the eyes to settle down and grasp this abstract. The colours are a blast and the concept is neat
