Photographer’s Note
Ulleungdo Volcanic Island is situated in the East Sea (Sea of Japan) between eastern Korea, & Western Japan. It takes 3 hours to reach from Mukho Harbor near Donghae, & is well worth exploiring. Seen here is part of the coastal walking track, between Dodong & Jeodong. The volcano is dormant, & hasn't erupted for centuries.

Oi Chris!
That's an awesome view! It must be terrific walk along that pathway by this steep and rocky shoreline!
Your picture is excellent with very good and suitable sharpness, correct exposure, wonderful colors, an extremely well chosen pov and a superb composition! Placing that tree on the left was a very good idea, because the right side of the picture has several interesting elements and the right hasn't, so the tree filled in the gap!
TFS - congratulations!
Best regards,
Neyvan

salut chris
une vue d'un paysage qui me fait penser un peu a ceux de chez nous dans le sud vers marseille, un cadrage bien équilibré avec l'arbre qui ferme le haut de la photo

Nice walkway and very nice composition with this curves at the rocky coast. A Mediterranean feeling like at the Cote d'Azur in France. Very sharp details and beautiful colours too.
Best wishes,

Hi Chris,
Wild and beautiful! I like the POV, very well used by you, the light and the colours. The sky looks a bit fake, but we all know how difficult it is to avoid the washed out appearance of bright hazy skies.

Hello Chris,
The tree occupies a very pleasant foreground which gives depth and a contrast of color with the rock. Light and colors are excellent. Very pleasant work. Cheer.

I hope it stays dormant for many more centuries. It would be a lost of beautiful scenery if the volcanos comes back to life again even if they are wonderful manifestations of nature power.
You have here another beautiful shot and I would be very happy if I could walk that footpath. Well done.

Hi Chris,
The wooden walking track is an asset to the composition. The point of view takes our eyes toward the horizon which is giving depth to the photo. It is also allowing us to see the colors and details of the coast. The trees in the foreground are framing well the picture. The luminosity is giving a good contrast to the colors. have a nice day.

Hi Chris,
Wonderful rich textures and lines to this rocky coast line that is seen in true clear colors.
Nice addition of the lush green pine tree in the foreground.

Namaste Chris
I've seen this place from your posts earlier. Like how the wooden stairs/path leads down to the rocky shoreline. Like the inclusion of the tree on the left. Nice work!
