Photographer’s Note
Sarakiniko! One of the most spectacular seaside locations in Greece and one of the most famous beaches in Cyclades. Nature is excersing in sculpture and the white rocks in strange formations create an "extraterrestrial" landscape. A magic place created by some volcanic explosion... who knows how many million years ago!

Hi Hercules
Good motion blur of the water. At first I thought you'd been to Greenland, as the white soil & rock resemble snow & ice. Tfs!

Dear Hercules
Spectacular, that the best word to describe this rock formation however also your shot and framing are superb. The color contrast are excellent, these variation of blue mixed with a bit of red, simply a dream landscape. Your sharpness is as excellent as DOF and light management. I would love to be there and see it for real. Well done
Best regards

Hello,
I was not knowing this place so that this photo is even more interesting to me.
Nice management with the long exposure time putting a silk effect on the water. Its blue color is so more visibile and help to built a nice contrast on the white stones.
It is true we have the feeling to be on an other planet.
Yves.

Hello Hercules.
Great title for this other-worldly picture. Your very slow exposure has created a most magical scene, but very sharp and clear. Beautiful work.

Andrew

another fascinating shot, Hercules, I like a lot how the curve of the shoreline wraps around the water and leads the eye into the scene. but I have a little problem with the sky - there seem to be some dirt specks on the lighter area on the right, and at least on this screeen I see some pixelation "rays" goind diagonally across the sky. I don't mind the gradiend colours, although a smooth blue of the sky might look better, but the pixelation in this case emphasises the uneven tone.
best,
Kristine

hi Hercules,
Stunning .. wondrous emptiness .. you are right on how alien it appears. The white on the water is so cloud like as to be almost disorienting with that 30 second exposure .. striking image ..
take care, John

Hi Hercules, Indeed lunar landscape here, without any trace of living thing. Amazing mysterious atmosphere. Splendid view of the water in the crater with a fog over it.

Geia sou Hercules
this place looks fantastic and without to look at the photo infos, I could guess the choice of the long exposure, giving that special texture to the water...
I like as well the shape of these white rocks!
Thank you for this "extraterrestrial" image ;)

Geia sou Irakli,
Yes, a famous place on Milos island, but your POV (without people sunbathing or jumping on the sea) is excellent. The low exposure is excellent to create the moon atmosphere. Where is the sky? Where is the sea? Well done! Cheers,
Catherine

Hi Hercules
The long exposure has smoothed out the water to provide a nice compliment to the sandpaper texture in the rocks. What a marvellous place.
