Photographer’s Note
The gold objet called Flamme d'Or seen forward was designed by French designer Philippe Starck for Asahi Breweries. It is constructed of metal and weighs over 300 tons.
In December 2011, the Tokyo Sky Tree of 610m in height will appear behind that buildings.
For this picture, I decided to upload as it was interesting that the 2 lamps of the streetlight seem to watch the couple. Taken at Azuma Bridge in Asakusa, Tokyo.
Here are another images, Flamme d'Or, and a Simulation of CCTV.

Hello Hisashi,
The very wide angle point of view put a lot of dynamism in the shot, 'increasing' the size of the streetlight.
The couple is well placed in the frame, it is an invitation to follow them in this urban landscape.
Thanks to make us discovering Tokyo in an original way.
Yves.

Hello Hisashi,
The all seeing eye, what a shame our society has had to succumb to this invasion of out privacy.
Nicely laid out shot, great colours and perfect balance.

Hello Hisashi,
The are many things like with this picture. The great depth achieved by the people in the foreground and others far away, the red diagonal lines as well as the strong vertical markers, th red eyes against the blue sky. There is a stylishness in the composition, and the architecture, that appeals to me.
Best regards,
Gert

Hi Hisashi,
Such an incredible and futuristic city you live in. I know the street lights do not have cameras in them, but I'll bet there is no shortage of "eyes in the sky" in Japan. We have our fair share of them in the US, too. I actually like the workshop of the Flamme d'Or and the water taxi best of the three here, it looks like something I read about back in the 1970's that finally came true - just not in the US.
Thanks for showing me some of your world, Hisashi!

Hi Hisashi,
very interesting composition. You must carry your camera all the time with you!
The young couple and the lamp over them make a great foreground for this shot.
Very original documentary work,

Hello Hisashi,
indeed, a curious scene :) Very well observed moment and promptly captured shot!
I like the perspective - with the long diagonal lines leading the eyes directly to that Flamme d'Or of an unusual shape which adds a bit of "spice" to the view :)
Best regards,
Elena

Bonjour Hisashi,
It is a very graphic but also it could be a moovie image. We could be in a science fiction film. The couple really seems to be under surveillance, your title is very well found. I like the extraordinary work on the black, red and grey colors. I hope that you will make a new photo as soon as "Tokyo sky tree" will have gone out of ground.
Your photos interest me particularly at the moment because my daughter is in Japan on holidays for 7 weeks, she spent 4 weeks in Tokyo (she comes back next monday) and she loves your country!
Regards
Diane
