Photographer’s Note

June 7th, the "stars" were gone, all speeches ended.
Only the sea and the sand surrounding the last vestiges of what was the port of Arromanches, which feeded the allied forces after their landing on June 6th 1944.
This box landing on the sand is one of those who were towed from England. 65 years later they are still there just in order to remember that lot of young peoples form different contries died there.
I post this picture a little bit late but I particularly like the serenity that emanates from a this quite sea and clean sand.
