Photographer’s Note
Race for Life is Cancer Research UK’s flagship event, which brings together thousands of women each year to walk, jog or run 5k and raise money to beat cancer.
All the women running in the race are given placards to write on and encouraged to add their own personal message.

hi casper,
I like this series of yours supporting and stressing the importance of breast cancer research and prevention.
ironically enough all the photos I have seen so far on this subject both on TE and TL were published by men...
the pink ribbon and in general the typical breast cancer campaign pink colour are well placed and catch the eye in a significant way.
your use of DOF both here and in the other picture is the right choice for this kind of shots.
have a good day,

hello again,
like your other picture, this too is a mix of reportage and the graphic. Well composed using the rule of thirds. I like the bokeh.

Neat series Casper, and this shot in particular encapsulates exactly what "Race for Life" is all about. The three blurred runners add very nicely to the composition. The DOF is perfectly chosen.
Good job mate! Bob

This is a good shot Casper, and I think it tells the story of the day just as well, if not better than your other photos of the runners themselves.
Nicely done.
Cheers,
Ben
