Photographer’s Note
Auli is one of the less explored hill station of India in the state of Uttaranchal. It is now becoming popular as a center of winter sports like skiing. But in the month of May- June the area remains covered with lush green carpet. Some best "Bugiyals" (Pasture land ) of India can be seen above Auli.
This shot was taken in Chainya bugiyal during our trek to famous Kunwari Pass (Curzon trail)
