Photographer’s Note
It is wandering the woods that you will discover the Castle Jehay. This imposing building of the sixteenth century, surrounded by a moat, appears as if by magic. Filed Exceptional Walloon heritage, the Castle has a remarkable and unique architecture in Europe.
Recognizable by his famous checkerboard, the former residence of Count Guy van den Steen opens its doors to an incredible journey through the arts. The atmosphere of places you will enjoy the sophistication of the life of the castle. Art lovers will be delighted by the eclectic collections of furniture, silverware, paintings, tapestries, ceramics, books, ...
The Province of Liège, owner of the Castle since January 2000, has made great work for the restoration of outbuildings. Since 2006, they are accessible to the public. In addition to welcoming visitors to the shop and a friendly, you will find exhibition rooms. The old stables are the theater of temporary exhibitions on various themes. In 2009, they are Paul Delvaux prints that will be exposed. An exhibition not to be missed!

Bonjour Yves
Bonne après-midi.

Hello Yves!
Beautiful picture!
The place looks so pleasant!
The picture has excellent sharpness, exposure, depth of field and natural colors! The low pov was a great choice here too! The composition was quite elaborated and the visual results are very eye-catching!
TFS - congratulations!
Best regards,
Neyvan

bonjour Yves,

Hello Yves!
Very impressive place, very impressive castle, great architecture photo with a "touch" of nature. Excellent composition and framing, great perspective, but the light managment, is a little bit "dark" in my humble opinion! Even so, it's a beautiful photo!

Bonjour Yves,

Amicalement.
Daniel.
