Photographer’s Note
This photo was the first of many photos during this evening. The sky had already started to turn a strong colour, and this was at least 10 minutes before the sun had even set!
About 10 minutes after this shot i managed to capture some amazing colour and some great compositions which i will upload in the next few days.
Whitecliff Bay is very close to Bembridge and is the eastern most beach on the Isle of Wight.
It has some stunning white chalk cliffs with some caves just around that headland, although you can get cut off at high tide so its a bit risky.
I feel that this photo is a little off balance with all the heavy large things to the right (cliff, rocks etc) although i couldn't really compose it any other way due to the size of those rocks!
I used an ND8 Graduated filter

Hi Jamie.
Technically this one is a great work and I love it.
The low exposure is very good and the light wonderful too.
Anyway, I think your sigma 10-20mm doesn't work very well with f/22. I have the same one and the smaller aperture I use is f/16 (but if I can, f/14).
Regards.
