Photographer’s Note
Hello Trekkies,
It's finally time for another shot from Turkey. Today a shot from romantic evening in Side and Apollo's Temple. Hope you like it! Cheers!
----------------------------------------------------
The ruins of the Apollo Temple are located near to the harbour of Side, which is located in the province of Antalya, Turkey. The temple ruins are dedicated to Apollo, god of light, art and beauty. It was built during the Roman Civilization and looks over the ancient port.
The temple of Apollo is also surrounded by other important ruins that date back to 7th century B.C. Side was one of the main cities of the ancient region known as Pamphylia that later became Antalya.
----------------------------------------------------
A few more words about Side:
Side is one of the best-known classical sites in Turkey. It is now a resort town on the southern coast of Turkey, near the villages of Manavgat and Selimiye, 75 km from Antalya) in the province of Antalya. It is located on the eastern part of the Pamphylian coast, which lies about 20 km east of the mouth of the Eurymedon River. Today, as in antiquity, the ancient city is situated on a small north-south peninsula about 1 km long and 400 m across.

Hej, Byłam w Side koło tej świątyni, ale nie wieczorem i takich kolorków nie widziałam. Fajne oświetlenie. Miły to musiał być wieczór wśród tych ruin. Ekstra palemki.
Pozdrawiam

Czesc,
fajna pora na strzal. Podoba mi sie ta poswiata w tle i widok ruin w sztucznym swietle w centrum. Milutkie zapewne mieliscie wieczory.

Hej mik!
Bardzo ładnie naświetlone zdjęcie. Lampy iluminacji pięknie kontrastują zostatnimi przebłyskami zachodu słońca. Idealny moment. Tylko ruina straszna...
pozdrowienia,

hi there :)
the composition is a little too centered for my taste, but the lights and colours are great, the ruins of the temple look like a harp, I almost expect to hear the sound of the vibrating strings. nice one :)
best,
Kristine

Hi Mikeo,
The temple is gorgeous and it looks even more fantastic with those amazing lights that make it stand out against the red and blue sky above the blue sea. Frankly, the centred compo looks good here, but I wonder if you hadn't other, eventually better, options.

José

Ciao,
the marked share-out between the reddish terrain and the blue sky and sea (it is a bit sloped, isn't it?) is further underlined by the spot of light of the columns. Even if there is very strong contrast in terms of lighting, there is no overexposure and the darks details are distinguishable too. Congratulations, Dario.
