Photographer’s Note
Post WWII era truck and O'Reilly's Lobster Coop where one can purchase old lobster traps and bouys for lawn ornaments or fresh rhubarb and lilacs.
Cape Porpoise is just northeast of Kennebunkport and is a lovely little coastal town.

Hello Tom,
This must be Maine...
A pleasant view of the derelict truck and house, united by the rusty colours of the lobster and the kind of the road.

Hi Tom!
I went in Maine in 1991 and I bought a post card as a souvenir. I am pretty sure it was that truck.
I really like the colours and the management of light. The picture is very sharp and the point of view pleses me. That a great composition. Good work!
I am gonna try to find the post card, I'm too curious.
Best regards
Denis!

Hi Tom,
They sure don't make radiator grills like they used to, what a master piece in chrome this would have been when it was new.
Good composition, a packed frame with lots of excellent detail to explore. I like the rustic (no pun intended) colours.
Mmmm, Rhubarb pie, very tasty, best cure for constipation ever invented.
Cheers

Hello Tom
This Co-op has seen better & more prosperous days for sure. Good colour & sharpness. The fg car hasn't fared much better. The yellow contrasts well against the blue grey sky. Tfs!

Hello Tom,
The tones and textures in that old truck and the shack behind are amazing. I very much like the composition here. It has a pleasing balance to it and the eyes are drawn in naturally from the truck to the building behind. Thanks for sharing.

Nice composition on this one Tom, the colors are awesome and my mind sort of wanders as to what this truck has seen over it's life span. Great work.

hi Tom, I like the busy scene. it sure looks charming and authentic at the same time. but what's up with the top part of the photo? the clouds + the tree tops seem flattened by a hot iron. I am almost sure it's due to some post-processing technique applied in excess.
warm regards,

Congratulations on your 800th photo on TE!
The old truck fits in well with the ramshackle buildings. It's a strange mixture of things you can buy there. Nicely composed image with plenty of detail of interest without the image being too busy or cluttered

Hello Tom! I like to spend my afternoons strolling through places like this one, buying things you never use but that make you happy and content whenever you look at them back home. Such a nice organized little chaos, full of things to find, the more you look the more you see. Such a cute photo, I like it a lot. Happy Sunday ... Barbara.

Bonjour Tom,
joli traitement HDR qui dénature un peu le paysage.
Superbes couleurs bien rendues et renforcées, surtout ce camion qui tient bien sa place dans la compo.
Du délabrement mais agréable.
Regards.

Hello Tom,
The neglected car has lost none of its dignity! Through one staring eye, it is challenging the world!
It makes a fine f/g feature with its patterns of colour and rust and is perfectly placed in the frame.
You have chosen a good dof to ensure all the details are clearly recorded for the viewer.
Have a good day,
Bev :-)

Hi Tom,
That rusty truck is a perfect attention catcher for this tiny business. And everything else is not too modern either. A place full of rustic charm captured on lovely sunlight.
