Photographer’s Note

About 4 years ago, during my first visit to Milos, I took with a compact camera a photo of Papafrangas cave from above, which I uploaded here in TE, about 3 years ago, under the title ***Natural pool*** . Back then, I remember that people could go down there and swin, in that old photo you can see a mother with her two children.

This time, there was a rope and a sign that prohibited the descent to the cave-beach, because the "carved" path on the rock, is too steep and dangerous. Anyway I went down there and took this photo.

Papafrangas cave is located at the northwest side of Milos, about 4 km from Pollonia village, and right beside the very important prehistoric arhaelogical site of Fylakopi.

*TECHNICAL INFO:
I lowered manually the ISO to 50, used a small aperture (f/22), an ND-4 (2-stop down) filter, a polarizer and a tripod for this long shutter speed.
