Photographer’s Note
Taken while heading home after photographing Slemish from the other side, and nearly being eaten alive by midges!
This is a popular location with photographers as it's a clear view of the familiar Ballymena side of Slemish. Happily, the sun was in the right position for the rainbow to form over the mountain!
In my panic I didn't use a tripod, but couldn't risk not putting the nd grad filter on. Somehow I managed to hold the camera steady enough to get a sharp shot. The rainbow lasted long enough to get a few more shots with the tripod set up, but I think this handheld one was the best.

You may not have many comments on this shot but i loooove it! Great POV, amazing scene in general and with the rainbow its just stunning!
