Photographer’s Note
Here is a photo of spectacular White Rocks, close to Portrush, taken from Magheracross view point. If you have a look on rocks colour, you will understand why this site was named this way ;) The photo was taken a few seconds before the sky emptied on my head ! It was a beautiful day though. But I was very happy to shelter in my car because it was one of the biggest showers I have ever seen, with incredible amount of water and very strong wind that shaked the car a lot ! A few minutes later, the weather turned back like it was before the shower : sunny and peaceful ... Charms of irish climate !

Hi Olivier,
Great shot! So you jumped the barrier :) I know this spot well and have a few compositions from this pov. I was once down there on white rocks beach trying to reach these arches at low tide looking for sea caves but the sea cut me off rather quickly. I like the dark brooding sky and your composition. Well done.

Bonjour Olivier ,

Hi Olivier,
Great, striking shot with the rugged rocks and the overcast sky. The texture of the rocks and movement of the violent sea is so well captured. The vertical format here really adds depth to the lanscape. Well done!
Best regards,

Bonjour Olivier,
Yves.

Hi Olivier,
A very nice composition. You must have a head for heights as you seem to have gone very close to the edge to achieve it! The foreground contrasts nicely with the sky, the result no doubt of your latest run-in with the vagaries of the Irish weather! Well done!
All the best,
Douglas

Hello Oliver,
Seems I have missed many great posts since I visited your gallery last time. This one is a favourite to me.
Wild ocean surf hits spectacular high cliffs with little flowers and a dramatic dark sky in a perfect compo and nic eframe. Well done. TFS Thomas
