Photographer’s Note
There are few places better than Cassis for a meal on the port. This photo was taken at about 7:30 PM- just before starting our search for nice place for dinner (see Workshop).
In the background is a private residence: owned and refurbished by Mr. Michelin (yes, that one).

This is a nice shot of this colorful port. Your composition is fine showing the boats in the foreground with the castle overlooking the scene. The lighting and colors are great with excellent sharpness and detail. I wish you had included the entire mast of the foreground boat but it is not that big of a deal.

Hi Randy,
Cassis is a beautiful place and here you show us one of its pleasant corners. The picture is well composed, with the port and the nice background (the cliff). The colors are bright and the atmosphere very maritime.
