Colour Me Pink Photo

Photographer’s Note

I am back to Arab Street in Singapore, an area around Sultan Mosque, in Kampong Glam, where the buildings have been renovated and at times are sporting bright colours. Like the people.Unfortunately the day was overcast and the colours a little subdued.

Hi Klaudio,
I like this colour combination of the pink dress and the blue building! Although the orange brick roof high above is a nice addition, it still feels like a temptation to crop away the upper part and concentrate the picture to the woman and the blue awning above her. Maybe take away the green dustbin to the left as well... What do you think (I´m not bothering with a WS)?

Another "surprisingly pleasant" picture from Singapore. Some fine, old-time architecture and a nice contrast of pink against the blue and light green. A very attractive picture.

Hi Klaudio,
A real decisive moment well caught. The lady in pick is like a splash of painting in all that blue. The only thing "out of context" is the dam trash bin, but what could you do? The architecture is very charming and the photo is also effective presenting it. Maybe if it was sunny you had complicated problems with the shadows.

dear Klaudio,
this blue is stimulates my color sensation so much...
like the deep ocean or the sky above the high mountain,
this shocking "blue" swings my deep mind to feel true quiet.
maybe the designer of this house has an artistic feeling,
and you must be attracted to it.
of course the pink of that lady and the red of baggage are wonderful accents in this blue space.
