Photographer’s Note
This is the minaret of the Kapitan Keling Mosque. It is a mosque built in the 19th century by Indian Muslim traders in George Town, Penang, Malaysia.
It is situated on the corner of Lebuh Buckingham (Buckingham Street) and Jalan Masjid Kapitan Keling (Masjid Kapitan Keling Road).
I composed this shot with a borrowed 50mm F/1.8 with the minaret against the blue skies and foliage on the sides.
