Photographer’s Note
Location: Rehab City, New Cairo, Helwan Governorate, Cairo
About: Architecture and city planning in Al Rehab City
I was really impressed by the classic European housing in an abstracted way, so this architecture can be analyzed as Post Modern Eclecticism since some features were chosen and abstracted, that's called eclecticism.
I'm thinking a lot why it's impressed from European housing and not from the Egyptian for example.. maybe he found that the Egyptian planning depends on sand? or maybe he found that the Egyptian will accept the European living rather than the Egyptian? I don't think so, still wandering!
