Photographer’s Note
Although I am not a big rodeo fan, I must say they are a great place to practice action photography. Hope you will enjoy this little series I start today. I also found it interesting that the pick-up men were identical twins :)

now THIS is what I call action :) great shot, Karen, your timing was excellent to capture the intensity of the moment, even the blood red shirts of the two men are just right to add drama to the scene. nice, very nice :)

Hi Karen
Nice image right into the action, the Calgary Stampede came to my mind, had great time there in '93
Have a nice day JY

Hello Karen,
This activity is sporting and certainly dangerous, but so spectacular. You carried out this photograph at the adequate time, which lets see the action and its details of expression. An interesting image and a beautiful performance. Congratulations.

Hi Karen,
A really action-filled photo! That guy falling off his horse seems relatively happy after all, but I can assure you, had this been in Sweden, every cowboy would have had to wear a mandatory helmet!
Kind regards

Hello Karen,
This is superb action shot — the rider having taken a spill, a veritable twin-duo of supporting cowboys ready to lasso the bucking bronco, the dust and mayhem... I know little about rodeos, but you do make the event alluring for action photography.
Warm regards,
Bulent

Hi Karen,
Excellent action shot with lots of drama from the hard fall of this rider.
Very clear focus and what is especially appealing is the look of anguish and pain on the young rider's face.

Hi Karen,
Amazing capture, for the action so well registered and the colours also. It's also very well composed, which perhaps would be much needed in this kind of photo. And, yes, the coincidence that the two horsemen in red are twins is interesting too.

Wonderful timing! Rodeo sure can be tricky with that as things change to quickly. Great series
