Photographer’s Note
This photo was taken a few years ago on the "rocky" side of the Algarve (Barlavento) that goes from Faro to the Sagres cape.
Its a beautiful landscape with countless small beaches enclosed by vertical clifs. The water is clear and warm.
Of course all this beauty has brought along huge crowds, and, in some areas, the seaside is overbuilt.
Unfortunately this "gatekeeper" is facing the ocean, and modern invaders come by land...

I tried to warm the picture and put some light on the left hand rock, but my lack of ability has made the result lousy, so I gave up.
