Photographer’s Note
The red paths of Fushimi-Inari taihsa reserves nice suprises like this one... The calm atmosphere is sometimes broken by teens playing happily around. They apear and disapear in a blink of eyes...
I have a WS please let me know which version you like better.

Hi:)
I haven't been here for so long...
So...perfect tunnel of red light and moving children - a perfect composition, very dynamic, I really like it:)

Hello Flavia,
Great picture, both are. Difficult to compare, as I generally have a strong preference for white frames, which doesn't say much about the actual picture, does it? The WS picture sure is funnier, but I think overall I'd go for the vertical format, as it matches the stairs really well.
Cheers.

Smart idea. Fine vertical frame. Superb columns with inscriptions.

Olá Flavia,
excelente captura.
Carlos

hi Flavia,
I think I prefer the vertical version, that format emphasises the confined narrow space, which, I think, is important here. combination of red and black always works, and this is no exception, I like a lot the intensity of the colours and movement. great shot, my compliments.
best,
Kristine

Salut Flavia!
Bravo!
Amicalement,
Marine

Hi Flavia. Nice catch, very eye catching colours and good timing also. I feel the main is slightly better composition as the girl in front has a little more room to “run into”. Thanks for sharing.
Have a good week, Paul.

Dag Flavia,
Excellent picture full of humour. The lady in the pursuit is obviously enjoying the situation. The girl in front seems to be afraid that she won’t keep her lead.

Flavia,

Hi Flavia,
I really like your work. It is something very different from what I do (postcards) but your shots are presenting very nicely the atmosphere of a place. They usually contain some characteristic typical element with some "action" there. That is the case for this picture. Very interesting,

Hi Flavia--I like the contrast between the orderly, graphic nature of the setting, and the lively, carefree action of the people. It looks like the kind of spot where one could just wait with a camera, and photo opportunities would appear regularly, if one is clever enough to see them (as you were, here!) Nice POV choice so that the person in front doesn't block the person behind. Regards, Ken.
