Photographer’s Note

This was taken on the the back of the moving vehicle. It was very early in the morning and we were heading to see the Flamingos that migrate to this lake. I did not process the colors for this image, just left as it is. I like the intricate shadow of the trees and I like how the lake looks so blue and inviting. This is where we found black african rhinos which are usually shy and hide from the sun as they easily get burned. When I took this shot, I was admiring the thick trees that is just at the edge of the lake's clearing.
