Photographer’s Note

To catch the meaning of D-Day in a photo is allmost impossible. I tried and looked from symbols. I thought the simplicity of these sunflowers as a brief sign of gratitude of people 65 years later for sacrifice of the lives of the young man and women in front of those stone crosses they are represented by forever, was a good effort. Question: who will bring the sunflowers in about 30, 40 years?
