Central Iran

The shot was taken in Qom-Kashan autobahn, somewhere near the central desert of Iran ( Dasht-e-Kavir ). Because of a full of rain spring, big and small pools had added to the beauty of nature.

you are right,the water adds some beauty in this dry landscape!It's strange to see this lonely green plant!The contrasted colours are superb,the red mountains under the blue sky are really beautiful!

This really wonderful,off course I compare to it to the desert I know here in the U.S. there are some very similar feature yet, it sure is different, the water is really a rare combination in such landscape and make it more beautiful. I like the contrast between the red soild and blue sky and the whitish soil or salt really give great contrast to the water with beautiful reflection. Good details and texture of the soil, and good composition. Thanks.

The reddish tones are characteristic of an arid and dry, but water dissolves this.

Framing details a good combination of tones, with good definition and appropriate management of the rule of thirds.

Very beautiful indeed. The water is a surprising view in that barren landscape with picturesque textures and red tones.

The diffuse and gentle reflection in the water is a wonderful contrast to the red tones of the desert .. love the textures and shadow of the hills .. very beautiful .. the blue sky is really nice with the oranges and reds as well. beautiful and meditative desert image. take care,
