Photographer’s Note
If I were a painter
Mixing my colors
How could I ever find
The blue of your eyes
The canvas could never capture the light of your smile, (of your smile)

Hi Kamran, Good shot of this young man at work. He looks pleased with the attention. Blur of his hand gives a good idea of him sanding the old paint. Cheers, Steve

Hello Kamran,
Good shot of a man (or a boy?) at work. Longer exposure to capture the moving hand, which is what the job is all about, of course...and the smile seems to be just for you, bringing it to us here. Also good shot in what seems to be pretty hard light. My only regret here is the slightly cropped off thumb at the top. Thanks for sharing, have a good week.

Hi Kamran, I hope you're well. This is an excellent portrait. The blurred hands gives us a great sense of dynamism and the painter's smile has been well-captured by you. I also really like the blue as contrast in a very sharp and well-composed image. TFS and have a wonderful week, Lisa.

assalamalikum, and you say you cant do monuments? Forget it...you are such a master with this genre that what you cannot do...or rather modestly dont want to do is immaterial! This has class all over it...and I must admit this is something I just cannot do

Hello Kamran,
Great timely shot of the expression of this young man. The blue colour adds a lot to this composition.

Hello Kamran,
A nice portrait and a fine little glimpse of a very ordinary life. I like his smile, of course, but also the balance of blue and beige and the movement of the boys hand.
Kind regards,
Gert

Salam Kamran. Sure it's not your song? The smile is infectious,(if only it was as infectious as the swine flu!), the colours vivid and the light inviting.May the young fellow keep on smiling in the years to come. Regards. Klaudio.

Dear Kamran
In 1987 we have been in Pakistan for more then 2 months, actually doing several features about the country, but meanwhile we did not come back. I don't know the reason, perhaps I try not be in the middle of an unrest if not asked by the editors. Obviously the boy is happy doing his job. Most probably his hands will be blue by the end of the day. Well framed and executed daily life picture with vivid colors, great sharpness and adequate DOF. Well done
Best regards
Urs
