Cyprus cedar (Cedrus brevifolia)can be seen in the foreground and the Cyprus oak (Quercus alnifolia)to the left of the photo.The Black Pine starts at an altitude of about 1.300 metres and replaces the Brutia Pine,which can be seen in the background forming strands with the cedrus brevifolia, and covers most of the lower mountains stretching down to the plains.
