Photographer’s Note
Bayeux Cathedral (Cathédrale Notre-Dame de Bayeux) was concecrated in 1077 by William (the Conquerer) who was King of England and Duke of Normandy.
Bayeux was the first town to be liberated by the allies in June 1944.
Taken last summer (2008) this image is a composite of 7 images joined together by auto-pano pro.
