Photographer’s Note
Windmills are mostly encountered in the greek islands but it's not unusual to find them also in the greek mailnland. This one is in Kranidi (in the background) which is 2.5 hours away from Athens (by car).
Technically, this image was composed from 18 vertical shots using Hugin. I'm trying lately to create a 360 degrees panorama like the ones I see in www.360cities.net but with no success until now :) ...

I love this panorama which has so many details to take in on the larger version. The white clouds in the sky add a dramatic feel though some of the highlights are rather blown out. Otherwise a fine view of this lovely windmill and the surrounding landscape.
