" Size actually does matter"
while approacinh the panchchuli Glacier, we got this wonderful view of the second peak of the group of five peaks,,!!
luckily I got a silhouetted view of a fellow trekker as well thus defining the size perspective in this frame. If you compare u can actually see the hugeness of the mountain here..!!! The glacier is coming down straight down as u can see in the shot..!!
this is the view of only one peak..think about a view like this of 5 peaks infront of u...it really makes one feel so so so small..!!!!!
enjoy the view..!!!!

A really most impressive photo - and this man, this ant, as a scale there wonks very well. These layers in the rock face also are amazing and interesting. A photo, a landscape to marvel at ... great!

Yes quite a view with which you've been fortunate and wise to include a silhouette to show us the scale !
I also like the cloud on the right

Une très belle photographie qui nous montre que nous sommes vraiment tout petit devant un tel spectacle.
Les couleurs légèrement sombres sont superbes.
La présence de la silhouette donne un superbe sens à cette image.

Perfect shot !
Beautiful mountain and glacier, but the shadow of this man is a very good thing for your photo. I like it a lot !
I went in this area last year ; in deed, I went around the Nanda Devi and I saw the Panchchuli Himal during the trekking but we were not so close from the glacier.

A breathtaking mountain view executed in fine clear light and wonderful detail. And the profile of the trekker dwarfed against the mountain gives an indication of the awesom scale.

I'd like to share my appreciation for this photograph, you've captured it really well. It is correctly framed and exposed. I find this photograph full of details, and I'm surprised that this is from a digital camera. Usually such details are seen on film format.
Thanks for sharing.

Namaste Indranil. Yes, even in this one peak view the human presence is minuscule. Great composition that silhouettes the person against a majestic peak and timeless glacier. The light is superb especially when the sky is so blue. Regards. Klaudio.
