IN MEMORIAM - NO POINTS PLEASE

Dear TE friends,
it is longtime I do not post any picture, nor comment yours. Other commitments have taken my time.
However I feel the urge to post this picture taken last year in L'Aquila, when visiting a dear friend who was born and raised there. Luckily he and his sister are permanently living in Pisa, but their parents lived in L'Aquila and had their apartment heavily damaged but still could safely leave the city and join their children in Pisa. However they lost all their belongings, house included, and don't know if and when they will be able to go back home. I know this is a little thing when compared to the dead people, but still...
The photo is part of the Cathedral facade, the inscription in Latin reads:

"Not tears benefit the dead, but prayers, pleas and charity"

Nothing is more true...
