Photographer’s Note

The navigational markers stand reflected on a winter's morning during a flood tide at the mouth of the Serpentine River, Mandurah, Western Australia. This water looks 'fishy', I think I'll have to leave the camera at home next time and bring along the fishing kayak and some tackle instead!!

Hi Jeff,

Very sharp image and the colours looking natural. I like this scene because of the warm tones and reflections. Australia definitely is a beautiful country. Hopefully I will go there someday. Hope things are good for you. Thanks :-)

it's a really nice shot. Good use of wide angle lens, very well composed with natural colors, good contrast, light and excellent sharpness. All these things make your photo very interesting. I like it a lot.

Nice one here, super sharp, reflections perfect, maybe a bit too much n the foreground but you don't wanna get your feet wet. lol

Hi Jeff.
Wow! It's amazing that this has attracted only 5 critiques. Look at that colour, the evening light, the incredibly still and luminous water. Great foreground interest in the form of that grass clump, and a great sky. I like that apparently fallen tree leaning out over the water. I think this is a superb photo.
