Photographer’s Note

The view of the 25 April Bridge through jacarandas. The photo was taken from the Necessidades Square, just near the Portuguese Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
In the Workshop, you could see another tree which is completely full of jacaranda flowers.

They are beautiful trees and it appears that we have a fair bit of them on the streets of Lisbon. It is a very nice shot and having the bridge in the background identifies the city. Well done.

Hi Tolga!
That's a pretty interesting and truly attractive picture!
Sharpness is excellent, exposure is correct, depth of field is very good, colors are naturally beautiful, the pov was very well chosen and you smartly composed this image! You put together many nice elements of Lisboa: architecture, the bridge and the tress!
I really like it!
TFS - congratulations!

Hello Tolga,
The jacarandas are wonderful but I particularly like the way you've captured one of the many, unexpected "offbeat" views that make Lisbon so special.

Tolga Bey ,
Küçük fotoğrafı ilk önce Cihangirde sokak arsından çekilme sandım.Jakandra ağaçı Bodrum'da var.Çok nefis çiçekli bir ağaç.Evler nekadar bizim Cihangir'e benziyor.Ama kırmızı damlar her zamanki gibi muhteşem.
Teşekkürler ve tebrikler.

Hi Tolga,
I almost missed this one, which is like an alternative, more panoramic POV of the previous. I confess I don't find these typical houses of Lisboa that pretty and I find difficult to make uncluttered compos with them, but I have to congratulate you because you were able to stuff a lot of things in this photo while keeping a certain harmony. In a way, most of the image is the framing of the jacaranda. It's also very curious how the bridge seems to lie together the houses in the FG.
Regards,
José
