Good morning Frank!
I am not too interested in football myself, but I can understand the chauvinismn to a certain degree... But I can appreciate a good composition, like what you show here, with these three heads in a line, and also the strong colours!

Morgen Frank,
Ja ja, diese Welle ist nun auch bei uns vorbei. Fuer zuenaechst mal "ruhige" drei Monate und dann geht's wieder los.
Frueher annoncierten witzige Tramfahrer den Bahnhalt Stadium als "Irrenanstalt" !
Hier eine typische alltaegliche Szene, schoen gesehen und festgehalten. Von einer solchen Schoenheit moechte ich mich auch 'mal bemalen lassen; wo am Koerper ganz egal !

so hat der Werkself die DFB Pokal verloren??
schade...ich stehe gar nicht auf dem SV Werder...(bin naehmlich schwarz-gelb!)

interessantes Bild...Fussball besteht auch aus Farben, Ritualen und Leidenschaft, obwohl viele derzeit - und ziemlich zurecht - denken, es geht nur um Kohle

i don't have to ask to which team those fans are belonging as it seems evident...are you also for them? A lovely daily sport scene and a good POV for this close-up.

This is a nice closeup of this young lady applying the team colors. One of our Florida universities, Florida State University has a very similar tradition. Florida State's mascot is the Seminole Indians and young ladies called scalp hunters paint the war stripes on fans faces outside the stadium prior to football games (American Football that is). I also understand that Happy Birthday is in order for you today!!
