Surprise guest at Petersfelsen Photo

English:
It is 7:42 a.m. and I am since almost two hours on the overlook called "Hunter's view", when I suddenly saw a chamois at the Petersfelsen in a distance of about 500 m. Despite the great distance and the partially dense fog you can see the solitary animal (probably a male) quite good standing on a rock. Chamois are really good rock climbers. No climbing is to hard for them and they even don't back off from risky rocks. In this picture you can see a chamois on the last meters to a bush at a dizzy height. It must have been notably delicious leaves, which have enticed the animal to the top of the rock. :-) To be continued ...

Es ist nun 7:42 Uhr und ich befinde mich seit fast zwei Stunden auf dem Aussichtspunkt "Jäger's Ausblick", als ich plötzlich in ca. 500 m Entfernung eine Gams auf dem Petersfelsen entdecke. Trotz der grossen Entfernung und dem immer noch stark vorhandenen Nebel, kann man das einzelne Tier (vermutlich ein Männchen) recht gut auf dem Felsen erkennen. Gämse sind ausgesprochene Kletterspezialisten. Kein Aufstieg ist ihnen zu schwer und selbst vor waghalsigen Felsen schrecken sie nicht zurück. Hier sieht man eine Gams die letzten Meter zu einem Busch in luftiger Höhe zurücklegen. Es müssen schon ganz besonders leckere Blätter gewesen sein, die das Tier ganz nach oben lockten. :-) Fortsetzung folgt ...

Hallo Helmut. Diese Landschaft ist scheinbar immer wieder für Überraschungen gut. Intzeressant, was es diesmal alles zu entdecken gibt. Das Gipfelkreuz und das einsam stehende Tier sind natürlich im wahrsten Sinne des Wortes Spitze. Mein Kompliment für dieses malerische Photo,- ws wäre ein Motiv für. den berühmten Maler C. D. wirklich ein Überraschungsgast, sind schon sehr gute Kletterer, diese Gemsen..
Ist das Kreuz dort zugänglich, oder bleibt es den wagemutigen Kletterern vorbehalten?..

nice natural view, the animal is in a dangerous place I guess, anyway it is an expert doing that. fabulous the abyss covered with fog and these details like the cross and vegetation too. well done. tfs

Hi Helmut,
Quite a surprise to see that chamois high on the rock. I didn't even know chamois can be found in that part of Germany. Again spectacular scenery, though light is not as good as on previous shots.

Hallo Helmut,
der nebel hat den größten Teil des Bildes blaß bemacht, spannend wird es durch Deinen Kommentar, der den Besucher veranlasst, die kleine Gams zu suchen. Währenddessen entdeckt man die halsbrechenden Felswände, und staunt, wie das arme Tier von dort herunterkommt.

Hallo Helmut,
wieder eine exzellente Aufnahme! Wie bereits hier erwähnt, erinnert die Komposition an ein Gemälde, aber ich stelle eher eine Ähnlichkeit mit Caspar David Friedrich fest! Die Anwesenheit der eleganten Gams ist ein großer Glückstreffer. TFS!

Bonjour Helmut,
la plus belle de la série et sans doute aussi la plus impressionnates sur le plan de l'altitude et le verticalité.
Beaucoup de relief avec d'une part cet avant plan coloré et ensuite le découpage en plan ssuccessifs.
