Photographer’s Note
The picture was taken on a market in a small village near Kashgar. These men are Uigurs - a muslim minority in south-west China. Life isn't easy for them - similar like with Tibetans - their culture and traditions are being slowly eradicated by the Chinese government.

Interesting double portrait Aga. I like very much the muted, natural colours. Sharp detail and nicely composed.
Well done, Roberto

hello Aga,
you have captured two very characterful faces.Interesting expression, I wonder what they sre thinking? That life is hard for them can be seen in the state of their teeth.

Hi Aga. That's a very strong portrait. The blown-out colours and strong contrast emphasizes the impression of these guys having a rough life.
Very nice work.
- Henrik.
