Photographer’s Note
Still adjusting to the new format on Trek Earth but thought that sharing this photo might give me a feel of the upgraded web site.
The place is Green Lake just north of Whistler Village and the mirror reflection caught my attention as the float plane took a calm glide across this lake.

Hi Paul,
Very nice shot here. Interesting how you chose to place the horizon near the top of the frame so we only see the sky and mountains in the reflections. Nice idea. TFS. Gerald

Très jolis reflets. Ce petit "oiseau" qui se mire dans l'eau est un plus de la photo que l'on découvre avec plaisir quand on ouvre l'image.

Hi Paul
Very well executed. The plane is tack sharp considering it was moving. This also looks good if you crop off the bottom and make a panoramic out of it.

Excellent shot, crisp, sharp lines and the mirrored reflection in the water is perfect. Must have been a perfect day to capture that kind of shot. I agree with gnuefeld about the horizon.

Hi Paul
A wonderful shot. The mirror effect is great, especially because you choose to show us the white mountains in the water.
The trees and the plane are so crisp compared to the lightly blurred effect in the water.
Bravo

Hello Paul!
I'm wowed by this faboulous reflection that covers almost entirely the whole image! Just perfect! Moreover, the "real part" of it is no less beautiful, with wonderful color, perfect sharpness, superb exposure with the real highlight of the "landing" plane! I really like it a lot!
TFS - congratulations!
Best regards,

Hi Paul.
Just a few weeks late in catching up with this one!
I'm still using the old TE, because I prefer the look of it.
I think I might have said this before, but I don't care, I'll say it again. Why has this superb capture only drawn 12 critiques? That is a rhetorical question, of course. But I'm scratching my head...
The shot itself is brilliant, with the marvellous reflection revealing the snowy peaks. The sharpness of the exposure, and the luminosity of the water and light, are a wonder to behold. Great work.
Regards,
Andrew
