This panorama was taken from the old Monastery "Panagia Vounou" in a distance about 3 km from Platis Gialos on the top of a heel with a unique view to Platis Gialos bay and to the open sea.
The visitor will be amazed by Platis Gialos at first sight. From the village's entrance the visitors are able to see and admire the panoramic view of the village and the marvelous beach. Most of the quarters are built next to the sea and the access is direct. Tasty tidbits and local dishes are served by the sea, in one of the biggest beaches of Cyclades/
