Photographer’s Note

This palace is about 30 minutes drive from the holy Hindu town of Rishikish, nicely nestled into the forested hills. To restore the palace to its former glory the maharaja established a joint-venture with a luxury hotel chain which build right behind the palace an annex in the same style then palace - a super spa retreat. Only by doing so the maharaja could renovate his palace and still lives there.

Good pov to show a beautiful old architecture in complicated design, even this is first architecture's photo from Rishikesh district, thanks for sharing.
