Hello Wolf,
excellent diagonal compo, the woman in red seems to be a very well chosen balancing and contrasting element...nice photo, well done!

very well done Wolf!
Diagonal leading from the boy - actually even better just one eye - and the duck to the lady in red
An excellent one of asian daily life

Nicely composed daily life picture. The lady in red gives 'colour' for the whole composition.

Your portrait work is superb in this shot ....the boy looks precariously at you.
The colors are exquisite and makes this shot stand out...also the detail in the buildings stands out your portrayal in general shows an ill fated future in general... I like how you have recorded this.

Hello Wolfgang,
Interesting daily life shot. Good juxtaposition between the tourist peering through the opening and the boy partly hiding behind the pillar and keeping tight hold of the soon to be sacrificial duck. The woman's red outfit is complemented by the red die covering the walls of the temple. A fine image, well worth seeing.

Hello Wolfgang,
The Gods have good taste! Duck is really nice. Alive as well as sizzled... A nice compo with the wood framing one side.
Greetings,

Hello Wolfgang,
a rare snapshot for us, but I think not for the duck, that is ready to sacrificed for the 'Gods'.I like the contrast of the colours especially the red cloth of the woman that is an eye catcher of the scene.Well done.
Have a nice afternoon,Danos

hello Wolfgang,
interesting scene. The combination of the squatting half hidden boy and his holding onto the duke is veryattention grabbing. The girl behind could be a scene from a completely differnt photo which adds to the intersetingness of this shot.

Is the duck a pet? I hope it's not pet-food;)))
Great composition with nice boy's look and the woman's red saari;)

Hello Wolf
The diagonal works well...and the one eye of the boy peeping from behind the woooden pillar holding the duck tight & the girl in red appearing to wave goodbye... a nice scene from the temple. Well done!

Hello Wolfgang friend,
your favorite conclusion "worth seeing" is so suitable for this picture from Kathmandu. The presence of the duck with kind little boy makes this picture so lovely. Nice observation and realization. Nice souvenir from your trip. So glad to meet you again. Friendly,

Hallo Wolfgang,
dieser leicht versteckte Blick um den Holzstamm herum, das ist raffiniert fotografiert. Und das rot im Hintergrund ist ein perfekter Kontrast.
Viele Grüße aus dem sonnigen Hessen,

hallo wolfgang,
how much i'd like to see something different, these days... and this is something that falls in that category of "difference"... why? for that boy's glimpse, half-cut face, with the arm spread and reaching the dug... you certainly captured THE moment... and that's what i like about this photo...

Hello Wolfgang
A well captured scene - especially with part of the boy being hidden and the soon to be sacrificed duck. A good composition with so much going on. Tfs, Marlene

Hello Wolfgang!
I don't usually take pictures of people, at least, don't usually focus on them! I'm not even sure I really know how to take good pictures of people, may as well try it someday! Anyway, I've seen many of yours that include them and you're definitely very skillful in this sort of art! I chose this one to comment on because it raises in me feelings of happiness and sadness simultaneously! The first one because of the wonderful quality of this image! The second because of the fate of the duck (and maybe of those people...).
I'll be seeing all of your photos to try to learn to get myself good ones too!
TFS - congratulations!
Best regards,
Neyvan

Hello Wolf,
I like the ambiguity of the young lady in red just intrigues, leaves us a question was she praying? Yes, perhaps she was in the temple. Another is the boy's expressions whether he is sad or shy just something to think behind the image. Perhaps sad for the duck fate.
I like this one alot.

Hi Wolf,
This is one of those photos that makes you stare on and on, trying to imagine what is happening. Great arrangement and posing of the human figures. I've never seen a duck held down like that before too, so it kind of adds to the sense of suspense, or waiting for something to happen, maybe the girl is just checking if everything's alright and ready...
Really interesting photo!

Hello Wolfgang,
Very nice dailylife of kathmandou: it is like I was still there, walking in the noisy streets.
I like the direct look of the boy even if I am not able to decide if it is good or not to have his face partially hidden.
Whatever, a very strong composition: each element is at the right place.
Yves.
