Photographer’s Note

Harving crossed French and Luxemburg, river Mosel passes in Germany to come to throw itself Rhein in Koblenz.
Between Trier and Koblenz, Mosel's valley is particulary nice: broad meanders, slapes covered with grapevines, old villages of winegrowers or fishers.

Quelle vue agréable! Quelle photo merveilleuse!
La netteté est parfaite pour cette image-là! La lumière suave est très jolie! Les couleurs sont vraiment magnifique! Toutefois, les parties qui m'ont plu énormèment sont le point de vue choisi et la composition qui est très chouette! J'adore le reflet aussi! La maison blanche en haut de la colline est un détail très intéressant et attirant!

I love the shot, I really like the Moselle and its surroundings, the capture is well shown, the church is typical for the villages and towns nearby.

Bonsoir Roger,

Les réflexions dans l'eau sont des atouts à la composition. La prise de vue dirige notre regard vers la maison blanche en arrière-plan ce qui donne de la profondeur à la photo. Elle permet aussi de voir les détails et les couleurs des immeubles de cette ville. La brume légère n'affecte pas trop les couleurs, elles sont assez vives à l'avant-plan. bonne soirée.

belle construction verticale d'image et dje dois dire que le centrement ici ne gêne en rien.
Le brouillard joue un rôle adoucisseur de couleurs et de contrastes, cela peut jouer positivement des fois.

Greetings Dear Roger!

I absolutely love this scene! You've divided the image in half beautifully, and I like the subtle angle of the waterline up and back to the right. The autumn leaves and church spire make lovely reflections in the water, and the steep, soft hills in the background provide a warm backdrop to the village.

I wish the hills were more in focus, and the white house on the hill was a little less bright. These are small things though. You've chosen a pleasing POV and created a superb composition.
