Photographer’s Note
This afternoon (26th June 2009) I drove past a little inlet of the Cooks River at Tempe near Sydney Airport. What first attracted my attention was a group of large fishing boats. However, my last shot was of this little dinghy. Once I got home and uploaded my afternoon shot on the computer I liked this one the most. Hope you do also.
Cheers,
Graham.

Hello,
Merveilleuse image de cette barue bleue, avec le bleu du plan d'eau, ces reflets des nuages blanc et de la végétation, sueprbe.
bravo et amitié

Hi Graham, you call this shot "just a point & shoot"??? Yeah right! It's excellent. The reflection is crystal clear and I love the position of the boat to the left rather than the centre of the frame. I would personally have done 2 things with this shot: 1. used an aperture of f/8 or f/11 as this probably would have made the image in the BG even sharper and 2. cleaned off the dust specks from the sensor at the top of the frame in post-processing with the clone tool. Great shot, your photos are getting better and better! I've done a Workshop, hope you don't mind. Congrats, Lisa.

Hello Graham,
I appreciate the artistic composition, under a controlled light. The red buoy balances the sober colors. An image carried out well and attractive. Congratulations.
Have a nice day

dear Graham,
quiet and beautiful air is splendid.
both the water surface and the reflected sky show me one vacant space with colored fine vibrations.
clear and silent light is filled in that space.
and all feeling and thinking are dissolved in it too.
thank you for your excellent shot,
Akihisa

Hello Graham
A nice mirrored reflection. The clouds really add to the overall effect - as does the vegetation at the top. Tfs, Marlene

Hi Graham,
I like the simplistic composition and the still in the water is remarkable. The buoy adds such a great splash of color to the otherwise bland yet beautiful picture.
Thanks for sharing
