Photographer’s Note
Speaks for Itself.
(A second sharper, better saturated version is posted as a workshop reflecting my recent problem with uploads to TE apparently suffering a loss of sharpness and saturation).

I'm not sure that I agree with you, that this picture speaks for itself, but this is quite a picture. Extremely good composition. The child takes on an other worldly quality, as if one is not sure if it is a child or a doll someone forgot outside. It definitely make one think.
Sincerely,

This a compelling photo. The child sts alone with an air of vulnerability. That the child is uncared for to soome degree is shown in the unkemt clothes. Not only unkemt but dirty. There is a vulnerability in the eyes too. A simple yet graphic background adds a sort of sad poetry to this iamge.

Yes, it's true, it doesn't only speak, but SCREAMS! Good moment capture and composition.

Hi Michael, tough picture, good work. I have read the critiques and realised that not everyone has seen the legs of this little boy, maybe because it is sometimes difficult to see what is clear... Thanxs for sharing.

Hello Michael,
this portrait is really great in its perfect composition, and the subject is so exciting!
I like a lot the colours, the soft light but overall the grea feeling that there is in this image.
All the best my dear friend.
Giorgio
