Photographer’s Note

This shot was taken at the highest point (4600m) of the Salkantay trek in Peru. The small piles of stones, or apachetas, were left by locals and travelers to honour the mountain gods.

Any critiques would be hugely appreciated as I am very keen to improve.

A lot of clouds, even some mist and still many colours on this pass... The apachetas (I didn't know this word) add much to the picture.
