Photographer’s Note
This photo was caprured near to St Mark's Square, which is the principal square of Venice, Italy. At the otherside of the lagoon we see the San Giorgio Maggiore island which is one of the islands of Venice, lying east of the Giudecca and south of the main island group. The isle is surrounded by Canale della Grazia, Canale della Giudecca, Saint Mark Basin, Canale di San Marco and the southern lagoon. It forms part of the San Marco sestiere.

A scene very different from the usual touristic Venice-
Like there is still a Venice which has nothing to do with the million tourists who visit it every year.
I like the black and white choice for this.

Bellissimo bianco e nero! Sembra quasi che abbia preso all'amo San Marco!!
