Photographer’s Note
About one hour west of Shanghai, there's one of the most famous water townships in China;Zhouzhuang .
It is noted for its profound cultural background, the well preserved ancient residential houses, the elegant watery views and the strong local colored traditions and customs.
I went there early for avoid many tourists so mostly residents and transportation still sleep.this shot taken after the sun rise.

Hello Chandhima,
Great and suggestive view on this beautiful village on the water.
Colors and sharpness are excellent so as the magnificent reflections.
You are right, it seems the oriental Venice. Friendly regards.

I am surprised this photo didn't get more attention, as you got a great light in this classic view of Zhouzhuang.
I like especially the reflection on the water and the detail of the red lanterns on the top right. I bet it was a difficult shot to keep the balance between the colours in the foreground and the rising sunlight in the background, but on my view you succeed it.
As a final detail, please not that Zhouzhuang is not part of Shanghai, as you place it here, but it belongs to Jiangsu Province.
