Photographer’s Note

Daniel Chester French was a leading turn-of-the-century sculptor. His studio at Chesterwood, nestled in the Berkshire mountains, provided a retreat from New York's urban life. Models, studies and full-size sculptures of his famous works are displayed in the studio, museum gallery, summer home and gardens.
Sculptor of the Lincoln Memorial, the "Minute Man" at Concord, Massachusetts, and many familiar public monuments.

Michael-nice shot...very soothing...only thing I might have done differently would be to adjust the brightness some in PS...but that would have probably blown out the sky...so nevermind :)

2 chairs on a wooden balcony with a nice country view on the background… So pleasant and inviting for an afternoon resting time. Well seen and captured!

A view from the porch. A fine view you have here Michael. Comforting and peaceful. The very atmosphere most artisans prefer, so as the could create what they have in mind.

There's something on the cushion of the further seat, which need some cloning off. It is way too small to be a good thing to be on the seat.

I love this kind of shot, with good sharp detail of pleasant objects up front and great depth with lots of color behind. I don't care how set up this was, I would still like to spend an afternoon on that porch.
