Antonio Mejías Jiménez, best known as Antonio Bienvenida (Caracas, Venezuela, June 25, 1922 - Madrid, October 7, 1975) was a Spanish bullfighter, bullfighter belonging to the dynasty of Welcome. It was the fourth child of the marriage formed by Manuel Mejías Rapela, the legendary Black Pope, and Carmen Jimenez. It is the most famous of six brothers, Manolo, Pepote, Rafael, Angel Luis and Juanita, all bullfighters. His sister, Carmen Pilar, is currently the only surviving direct Manuel Mejías Rapela.
Antonio belonged to the famous saga of toreros connecting the era of Manolete and with Pepe Luis Vázquez Antonio Ordóñez and Manuel Benitez "El Cordobés.

Manuel, the angle from which you shot this is very effective, it give life to the statue. I think this angle is what the sculptor had in mind as it seems to be much more than cold stone or bronze. Great work.
