Photographer’s Note
This is the headland that juts out about a hundred metre into the sea, a popular lookout point to see the "Twelve Apostles" which are sandstone stacks formation near Port Campbell, Victoria, Australia. You can expect strong gusty winds which can blow you off your balance. Taking photo can be difficult, which is why I resort to high ISO and high shutter speed. I am posting this one to give you a sense of the height of this natural structure compared to the minute size of human walking on it along its length. They are hardly visible still.

Hi Alfred,
I wonder ho many thousands of years it will take for this look-out to be separated from the coast and become another of the Apostles.
Good detail in this capture, the people do look like ants as they make their way to the point.
Lovely colour tone, the golden colour looks wonderful.
A very nice capture.

Hi Bill!
You can already see the start of the headland breaking free, but something tells me I won;t be around to see it! The soft low sun has created some great light, the colours are great!
All the best

Hi Alfred, I am really enjoying your series on the Twelve Apostles. They are intriguing pieces of landscape and you have captured them uniquely and expertly. I like the management of light here and the composition within the frame. Excellent work and I wish you a wonderful weekend, Lisa.

Hello Alfred
The soft light is pleasant for the eye and gave pleasant golden tones to the imposing cliff for which I also like its texture...if you would not have mention about the people, I would not have seen them at all ;)
Interesting details and framing!
Have a nice evening

Hi Alfred,
Good pov to show the stretching cliff meet with the strong waves, man made things become too small in this natural view, good shoot to show it all.

Hello Alfred, Another nice shot from your trip down the Great Ocean Road, I particularly like the colour & light in this coastal scene with the golden tones of the rock face contrasting well with the blues of the water & sky. Well chosen POV to capture those tiny looking people on the platform & walking along the path. With the coastline eroding at a very slow pace it is impossible to see change in our lifetime except for one or collapse. Well done, nice clear image.
Take care
Santo

Hello Alfred, having been to see the Apostles myself, and straining against the fence in the viewing area, I recognize this headland, but never thought to take a shot of it. In fact I don't think I've ever seen a shot of this taken by anyone else. This to me is as good or better (at least more original) than a shot of the apostles themselves, so I really do like your perspective for this one. The shot itself is well done providing very good detail from the foreshore through to the people in the viewing area.
Thanks, John
