Saltburn pier,
A couple stroll along saltburn pier the remains of the last Victorian pleasure pier on the Yorkshire coast.[see other posting for more info].

The composition is really original.
Never thought a bench could make such a perspective.
The people in the center of the circle are just in place.
I also like the choice of B&W – helps to create space in a way.

Just superb - it's amazing what a change of viewpoint will do. I love the way the B&W brings out the texture f the bench leading the eye to the "porthole". Also there's added interest with the folk slightly off-centre within the circle framing them.

Cracking viewpoint Dave ,my friend mick did a photo looking the other way capturing the lifts using the circle .Mono is def the right choice for this .Well done :-)
As usual this deserves a lot more comments ,whats wrong with these trekkers !!!!!

Good shot bagpuss you must of read my mind got a very similar one to this with the wife and grand child in shot. Also did it the other way with the cliff lift in. A very good shot great minds think alike.
