Photographer’s Note

Often called "the most Mexican city in Mexico," Guadalajara, Mexico's second largest city, is an interesting mix of modern and historic. The downtown is full of beautiful colonial architecture dating from the 1500's. This view is from Calle Morelos in between the cathedral, begun in 1541, and Hospicio Cabanas, the largest colonial edifice in the Americas, with 23 courtyards.
